It's the scent of the Orient Express, reinvented by STATE OF MIND in the contemporary way. This perfume takes us on a journey from Paris to Kyoto, through Constantinople, Moscow and Beijing. Its top notes evoke Eastern Asia and it’s teas – Japanese Hojicha, Chinese Lapsang Souchong and Pu-erh. The fragrance opens with intense, smoky notes, reminding us of the modern nomad's state of mind. Hojicha is an exceptional Grand Cru tea made from roasted green tea leaves. The roasting process gives Hojicha a red-brown colour and a smooth, earthy flavour. Thus, the Hojicha taste is slightly smoky and toasty, with caramel hints. Lapsang Souchong is a Chinese (Fujian) black tea famous for its smoky flavour and intense aroma. The smoking process gives Lapsang Souchong its characteristic woodfire aroma. It's a perfect transcription of the nomadic campfire atmosphere. The heart notes recall the journey of the Orient Express and the exotic scents of Istanbul’s markets. Turkish Rose and Balkan Plum mingle with the smoky scent of Amber and Indonesian Patchouli. The final notes are a perfect mix of the fragrance’s multiple influences – Russian Leather, Malagasy Vanilla and Indian Oud.
