Pierre Montale is a renowned French perfumer and founder of two prestigious niche perfume houses. His career took off when he journeyed to the Kingdom of Arabia 20 years ago, where he was introduced to confidential materials through connections with the Royal family, particularly oud and agarwood. He established Montale in Paris in 2003 near the Champs-Élysées, pioneering intense, long-lasting fragrances built on oud. In 2008, he expanded by founding Mancera, which became a multi-generational collaboration with his daughter Amélie (artistic director 2017). His fragrances bridge Eastern and Western sensibilities with exceptional material quality.
